I'm a big shopper; I'm kind of addicted to shopping.I like to shop where there are definite brand names.  I wear logos on everything I own, so that is my guilty pleasure. If I see something I like when I go into a store, I'll get it because I like to get new clothes. I avoid shopping in Penticton whenever possible because it is boring. The unfortunate thing about brand name shopping is the expense.  For this reason I have a job.

Blog Assignment #1

You have the ability to transport yourself to any historical event and take part. Describe that event, the role you played in it, and how it impacted history.  Your involvement may either change our history or explain why our world is the way it is today.

I took a trip on my time machine in 1889 and found myself in Germany with a weird man named Karl Benz who had a crazy idea to build an automobile powered by gas.  I told him he was crazy.  The horse and buggy was going to be the only transportation.  But, he didn't listen to me and he ended up building this monstrosity that has impacted us majorly in our world today.  People didn't really catch on to the fact that this gas powered automobile was a wise invention in the beginning.  However, his invention impacted others to make their own vehicles across the world in the U.S.  About twenty years after my encounter with Karl, I bought my first vehicle off of a guy named Henry Ford.  At that time there were only a handful of cars around, but by 1927, there were over eighteen million automobiles around!  This invention impacted the world and the way we live today.
